currently my router is working fine,i want  to know some information for my router.

1)At what time dev_rout file will update.

2)What are the information will get in dev_rout file.

3)howto get last one month login information in dev_rout file.

4)I want to know all users information with IP, If any user loging from out side network to SAP through my router, i want to know all the information about incoming connection.how to set this.

We are planning to upgrade it to latest ides version, anybody please help us to perofrm this EHP Upgrade with Step by Step scenario.

Ive a scenario where a 4.6C NUC system needs to be upgraded to EHP7 on Win2k8 & Oracle 11. The instance currently sits on a Win 2k3 box with Oracle 10.

Now as per the below OSS notes

As per OSS 1581775– 4.6C will be supported on 2008 R2 x64 for upgrade purposes only

As per OSS 1487754– 4.6C will be supported for 1-2 weeks on Oracle 11 for upgrade purposes only

One of my approach is going to be a system copy of 4.6C onto the 2k8 box, perform an Oracle upgrade to 11 & then the EHP7 upgrade.

My question is, SAP says 4.6C will be supported for upgrade purposes only. Now after I perform the system copy & until i reach the downtime phase of the EHP7 upgrade. Can my system be used productively?

I am trying to Upgrate IS-UT component from 600 to 606 in ERP6 EHP6 using SUM tool.

It throws the following error during the upgrade process:

"Combination of operating system Windows NT INTEL and database MSSQL is not supported"

We did a new EHP7 installation and then we upgrade all the support packages via SUM. The upgrade was successfully completed but since the upgrade is finished we are getting syntax  errors in most of  MM transcations.

Can any one help me on this..?

In My Organization our employees are facing problem with SAP CONNECTION , every one week SAP ROUTER is getting restart , for 2, 3 minits ,

In that time we are unable to connect our servers.When i check for Router status its showing running only.

We asked our network team for any network problem, they replied no problems from network side.

I want to know the reason  for this problem and is there any job scheduled for restart the server ,where we need to check.

We just upgraded our system to EHP 6.

For MSS we did not go with the AddOn but instead upgraded to MSS BP 1.5

We intent to use only WDA applications, however, since we have not taken Add on, we have not activated the Switch HCM_MSS_WDA_1.

Will this be a problem?

If done this way, are there any prereq steps to consider.

I refered following link and from the prereq list, we activated switches:

HCM_ESS_WDA_1

HCM_ECM_CI_1

HCM_ECM_CI_2

We somehow are not achieving the desired results.

One key problem is, for Links "Compensation Comparisons & Comp Profile, within the Planning Pages, system displays error msg, "There is no iView available for system "SAP_ERP_HumanResources": object "employee". For more information, contact your administrator"

Secondly, the Compensation Planning Pages do not display data in few fields.

Thirdly, When Application Parameters are set to "HCM_ECM_PROFILE_OIF" and Configuration set to "HCM_ECM_PROFILE" in  for Compensation Profile, System gives error " The Application cannot be started because the Person ID is missing. If HRTMC_EMPLOEE_Profile application is running is ESS, it determines the required ID from user and therefore does not require and ID transfer.

Need experts guidance.

Hi ,

I have English(EN) as the system language and German(DE) as the secondary Language in my development environment.

Also Norwegian(NO) language is installed for which supplementation language is English.

While logging in with NO and executing certain tcodes for example MM02 , I am getting a mixture of all three languages and no translation.

Screenshot attached.

I would like to know if someone has encountered this scenario before and would be able to help with a solution.

Also most importantly, if I want to set the secondary language as english now, could I do the parameter change at any time and take a system restart or should it be done only while installing a new system  when there are no languages other than the ones delivered by SAP i.e. DE and EN.

I come accross a error DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR when I

upgrade from SQL2000 TO SQL2005 on R346C system.

The detailed error discription is SQL error 1018

occurred when accessing table "NRIV ".

The SAP system can run with some errors when it

starts. The main error is DB ERROR: SQL ERROR 1018

which is coming up when I run some T-CODE such as

DB02, SE38 and so on.

The detailed info as follows:

I am trying to re-indux the BSEG table in my production system using Brtools and it is ended with error saying 'BSEG' table not found.

But when I checked from sap level using se16, se11 tcode I am able to see the latest data in this table.

Hi all,

I have a standard adobe form in SPAU under Without Modification Assistant and I want to reset the form to original because I want to use the standard one. However, before I reset it, I want to copy older version of the form and create a custom form so I looked up the version history, retrieve the older version and make it active.

As the result, the form is set as adjusted in SPAU so SPAU does not allow me to reset to the standard one (because it has been adjusted).

Does anyone have tips how the process can be improved? As in creating a custom form based on older version but I still want to reset the form to original. Feel free to let me know what steps I should have taken.

If anyone has any tips to make the form to become a standard form, please let me know.

Hi,

We have a requirement where ERP 6 has to be upgraded to ERP6, EHP7 along with Unicode conversion and also migration to new data-center.

The source os version is Win 2003 and target Win 2012.

So, one way is to do combined upgrade and Unicode conversion (CU&UC) in the source server (win 2003) and use the export dump taken for unicode conversion to import in target server.

So, the system is getting upgraded to ERP6, EHP7 in source but it will not be used by users as we are exporting immediately .

But now ERP6, EHP7 is not supported on win 2003 as per PAM.

So, can we take this approach or it is better to do an UC and migration to target server and then upgrade? But then 2 downtimes would be needed.

Please suggest.

We are upgrading our ECC 6.0 system to EHP7 sp02.

We are using SUM tool for the same and SUM version is 1.0 SP11, AIX 6.1 TL09, ORACLE 11.2.0.3

Our environment is installed as CI DB on different servers.

In UPDATE phase Configuration – Summary shows Instance list as below

Host – DP01 , Instance Number – 00, Profile – <Instance profile>, Start Preofile - <Instance profile>, Type – CI_YES, Platform – rs6000_64, Allowd Actions – STOP|START|MANDATORY

Now issue is why SUM is picking instance profile in place of START profile ?

Is it due to some missing thing or Bug in SUM ?

Or IS it safe to proceed with this as I heard START profile is no more supported in future SAP releases.
