ERP 6.0 EHP7 what is DVD kit "NW740SR1" ??

We're doing an upgrade from ERP 6.0 EHP5 to EHP7.

 

During the Extraction phase in SUM (SUM 1.0 SP11) it ask me for

 

' Enter mount points for DVDs of the kit "NW740SR1" required for the procedure

Enter at least the mount point containing Export DVD for product ERP '

 

Anyone knows which files it refers to?

 

We have downloaded "everything",

 

ERP60 ehp7  upgrade export, installation export, java components (don't know why, because this is an abap-only), Lang, installation export II (zip-file)

 

NW 7.40 SR1 Upgrade Export, Lang,

 

Checking the logs doesn't show which files are missing.

 

AIX 7.1 and DB2 9.7

 

 

Please advice!

SAP ROUTER getting restart every week

Hi Friends ,

 

In My Organization our employees are facing problem with SAP CONNECTION , every one week SAP ROUTER is getting restart , for 2, 3 minits ,

In that time we are unable to connect our servers.When i check for Router status its showing running only.

 

We asked our network team for any network problem, they replied no problems from network side.

 

I want to know the reason  for this problem and is there any job scheduled for restart the server ,where we need to check.

 

Please help me for this issue.

Hello Friends

 

We are upgrading our ECC 6.0 system to EHP7 sp02.

We are using SUM tool for the same and SUM version is 1.0 SP11, AIX 6.1 TL09, ORACLE 11.2.0.3

Our environment is installed as CI DB on different servers.

 

I am in preprocessing stage and in phase MAIN_SHDCRE/SUBMOD_SHDDBCLONE/ADJUSTCHK_EHPI I am getting dump EXSORT_NOT_ENOUGH_MEMORY.

i have already followed 193529 - Sort as of 4.5A/EXSORT_NOT_ENOUGH_MEMORY but no success.

 

Our memory parameters are as below.

 

em/initial_size_MB            8184       MB

em/blocksize_KB               4096       kB

em/address_space_MB           4092       MB

ztta/roll_extension           2000000000 Byte

abap/heap_area_dia            4000000000 Byte

Can I manually import a transport (SPDD) in my shadow instance during the A

I'm in the process of upgrading our 4.6c QA clustered environment to ECC 6.0 along with a hardware migration (64bit win 2003 and SQL2005) I've sucesfully upgraded our SBX and DEV environment (non-custered) succesfully.

 

While doing the QA prepare phase, I selected that I did not have a single transport to include because the STSM of my QA environment was pointing to my old 4.6c DEV environment and didn't think I could copy a transport created in the new ECC environment to a 4.6c system.

 

So I am now at the ACT_700 phase where I must do SPDD. Is there a way that I can use the tranport the development team has created in order to make th SPDD modifications or must they now be done manually again by the DEV team? I would rather not have to have them redo it again.

 

Can anyone help?

"Upgrade is running! No import possible" in ACT_UPG

Hello,

 

I´m applying EHP4 in ECC6 with sapehpi. In preprocessing phase ACT_UPG, in the beggining, the system asks if I want to make adjustments in SPDD. I have already made this adjustments in DEV system, but I released the request manually and so it is not included automatically in the import on QA system.

My problem is now I want to import this request in QA system in this phase, instead of, making the adjustments again.

But the system doesn´t allow me to do so:

 

ERROR: Upgrade is running! No import possible.

 

tp returncode summary:

 

TOOLS: Highest return code of single steps was: 0

ERRORS: Highest tp internal error was: 0253

tp finished with return code: 253

meaning:

  system in upgrade, no import possible

 

I´ve done a UNLOCK_EU and the error is the same.

 

How can I import my DEV request now to adjust the dictionary in QA at this point in ACT_UPG?

    I've  a problem on the upgrade ERP to EHP7 in phase SCEXEC_ALIAS, the error is "Cannot use drop view with 'dom_shd.J_1BLEGAL.NAT' because it is a table...

I can see thi erron in PTALDC02.LOG.

Please help me to fix this issue.

Listener not getting started after db upgrade from 10.2.0.2.0 to 11.2.0.2.0

Dear all

i have successfully upgrade oracle database from 10.2.0.2.0 to 11.2.0.2.0 through dbua but after upgrade i have copied listener and tnsname from realese to and new release then i follow these step

 

Stop listener   it get stop perfectly

start listener  it won't get start  it gives ora-12560 error

 

i have checked and change the  file at /usr/sap/sid/sys/profile/oracle also

if there is anything to do with control file let me know

Hi ,

 

while performing the EHP7 upgrade during the extraction phase I faced below error.

 

Severe error(s) occurred in phase PREP_INPUT/SUMCHK!

Last error code set: tp failed with return code 232, check G:\SUM\abap\log\TPSQLSTD.OUT

 

I have tried implementing the below parameter disp+work is stopped

 

Env variable rsdb_ssfs_connect = 1

rsdb/ssfs_connect = 0

 

 

I have attached the TPSQLSTD log file below,Kindly share your inputs to fix above error.

Request not move bcaz of component version does not match

Dear Experts

we have upgraded our ehp4 server to ehp6 but now we found while testing our ehp6 test server some pgm are not moved to ehp6 test server as we have move some request to prodution server after ehp6 test server test started some pgm are ruuning fine in PRD same pgm through dump in ehp6 test server

 

now we are trying to move some request from ehp4 to ehp6 it shows component version does not match

i have sent screen shot for the same

SAP EHP upgrade CR merge

Hi all,

 

We are doing EHP upgrade and creating a new landscape parallel to existing one.

After DEV, QA upgrade, During Dress-rehearsal, we need to merge all new CR's(change requests) since the copy was done, from Existing EHP3 landscape to new EHP7 landscape.

 

Need some idea, as can we move the Transports from EHP3 to EHP7 manually or we have any other way round.


Will the current modification in EHP7 be overwritten by the ones imported with EHP3.


Please share your views.

unable to start shadow instance MAIN_SHDPREPUT/START_SHDI_PREPUT

Hi ,

 

During the EHP7 upgrade pre processing phase Now the shadow instance is not starting up

 

main issue with disp+work .exe  is stopped, I have attached the DISP & other logs below and tried few work around but still same issue .
