I cannot find anything useful to troubleshoot this issue...

Any ideas how to fix this?

After the upgrade to EhP7, job EU_INIT ran for more than 4 days, increasing WBCROSSGT to 24 GB. Anyone else with this strange system behaviour? We're running on MaxDB 7.9.08.22.

We have our annual patching cycle about to commence and we where hoping to upgrade to ERP 6.0 EHP7 SP6 and also upgrade our SRM 7.0 system to EHP3 SP6 and our CRM 7.0 system to EHP3 SP6 as well. This was released to customer last week, however when I try to generate the xml file via the maintenance optimizer the following message is displayed:-

SP Stack 06 (10/2014) # SP Update only, see note 2081050

On checking this note it is telling us we cannot upgrade our systems to SP6 but we would have to do a two step process at the moment ie upgrade to SP5 and then patch the systems to SP6 in a second step. This would extend the amount of time the patching would take and increase the downtime of the systems and so is not an easy choice.

The OSS note however says :-

If you would like to run the EHP installation to Suite7i2013 SP06 directly, please wait for the release of the same shortly after RTC of SP06.

Does anyone know how long this shortly is likely to be, as we cannot plan or decide what to do with a vague statemnet such as shortly.

In the Downtime the SUM stops with the error message:

Execute Report RSUPGRES

Start a fresh SUM, but get this error message:

Component BP-ERP is in an undefined state, Upgrade wasn't completed - maybe upgrade was not reset ?

How can I fix the issue ? A restore is not possible because SAP Support take 2 months working on this ticket.

we finished upgrade ECC6 EHP5 to EHP7 ( OS : windows 2008 R2 / DB : SQL 2008 R2 ) on DEV /QAS systems There are some problems such as :

1 - The appearance of Overlap in some screens . despite the presence of these screens a good on the client 000 .

2- when trying to System Copy ( Export/import ) occur problem and didn't completed

    (Unloading of 'SAPNTAB' export package: ERROR ) please find attached for more details .

we are updating our landscape to EHP6 so there are some request for i copied cofiles and datafiles to some folder if i copy those copied request after

upgrade can i get whole request and task related to that request  or we need to move those request to quality for safer side

our quality server is out of landscape becaz of upgrade activity

our quality and prd server are already upgrade to EHP6

Kindly suggest what should be done for the same

In dual landscape i.e.

1. Production landscape – D1 -> Q1 -> P1
2. D2 L landscape D2 -> Q2

Now if we change original system in D2 to D2 , then if transports move from D1 to D2 , if any new versions exist in D2 , they will be retained.

What is the way to retain versions in D2, please suggest ?

The idea is , not to lose the version and retain them , so that prev version and current version can be retrofitted.

My customer has requested a list of compatible printers for ECC 6, SP 13.

Dear Experts,

I need your expert advice about our requirement on Activating Business area for Company Code in SAP ECC 6.0.

Our client wants to see location-wise Trail balances and Financial statements, hence he is insisting us to activate Business area functionality to track Financial statements different location wise. Although we are in ECC 6.0, client doesn't want to go Profit center wise segment accounting. he is mainly looking about Business area as we cannot use PCA, as Profit Centres are not mapped as locations in our configuration.

Kindly advice us what could be the red flags/ showstoppers if we were to activate the Business Area functionality in Ecc 6.0. Also what precautions should be taken to do this scenario and what could be the impact once we activate Business areas for this new Company Code.

Also as per our understanding although SAP will be supporting Business Areas in future, there will no further enhancements on Business Areas. So in this scenario should we go ahead with Business Area Activation.

Please advice.

We have a strangest issue with search help after upgrading the system to EHP6 (and SP accordingly). In the composite search help (F4) when we use dropdown for additional search values, either blank value or some text is being returned back to the field. This affects all such search helps in multiple transactions (XD03, VA03, KO04, you name it).

E.g. in this screenshot (XD03) when calling F4 for customer number, for the Country code when we double-click on one of the values, it should bring the value back to the search fields, but it doesn't.

So far I have not been able to find any notes or even SCN posts on this. This works the same way in different GUI versions. It works correctly in the non-upgraded system. Also it works if we change the Help setting to the Dialog(modal) vs. system default, but IMHO we should be able to use both options and both should work correctly.

Has anyone experienced the same issue after an upgrade?

after upgradation  ehp6 from ehp4 we have installed new GUI 7.4 but after installation the printer not able to print anything from SAP but with GUI 7.3 it was able to print and  in SAP Gui 7.4  when we check there is nothing in printer queue the printed document went through printer bit not able to print .

and also we are not able to convert our output documents to PDF format also

is there are any new setting in SAPgui 7.4 for printer kindly share

I can connect to production instance with DDIC user in client 000 and can see in SM50 that the wp´s are waiting for enqueue-server. With ps -ef I cannot find any en.sap-process for the prod-instance. There is only an enqueue-process for the shadow instance!
