We have downloaded the dbsl patch version(318) from marketplace. We

have done the uncar, extracted the files and copied the files to the kernel

location. After restarting the server again, while checking the sm51, the dbsl

patch version in our server is still the same(315).

we are performing EHP3 upgrade of CRM7.0 system and in the extraction phase, we came across an issue where its not taking password for SYSTEM and SAPSR3 user.

so we tried to check the user status from SQL and the status is open, and we tried to connect to database with SYSTEM & SAPSR3 but we are getting below error.

please suggest.

the TCM system is recently build with system copy and migrated the database version from 10g to 11g.

we have also tried to confirm if the TNS file is correctly configured with below command.

Please help us in resolving the issue.

I am upgrading ECC6 EHP 6 ( NW731) from stack 5 to Stack 12 with SUM 1.0 with SP11,

System is on Oracle 11G / AIX 6.1

Selected option "single system long downtime no shadow instance or exclusive shadow instance"

Now upgrade is in execution phase , and  the step MAIN_TRANSEXEC/PARMVNT_TRANS running for last 15 hours as shown below , SAP app is down , I can see one tp process is running and in /SUM/abap/tmp directory one file PA011015.SID is slowly growing

I can connect to production instance with DDIC user in client 000 and can see in SM50 that the wp´s are waiting for enqueue-server. With ps -ef I cannot find any en.sap-process for the prod-instance. There is only an enqueue-process for the shadow instance!

We are upgrading the SAP system R/3 4.7 to ECC 6.0 EHP7. and found many BADIs became inactive.

We also have EHP6 system and found total 885 standard BADIs are active where as in new EHP7 system, just 34 BADIs are in active status. The Notes 1898691 and 1969777 are stating that this was fixed with SUM SP9 patch level 6 or above. We used SUM SP10 patch level 8. the Note 1969777 has fix for custom BADIs. But I couldn't find anything to fix the Standard BADIs inactive issue.

Please help me if you have any information on this issue.

Hi Experts,

we have initiated SAP CRM EHP3 upgrade and started the activity and in preparation phase we got a issue with ops$ mechanism which required us to set up the SSFS configuration to connect database Oracle11g with Sap kernel 740.

after that the preparation continued and in phase PREP_IMPORT/TOOLIMPI it took long time and we waited for 10hrs and then we have stopped the process and cleaned SUM and restarted SUM tool with fresh dump.

again its taking long time in PREP_IMPORT/TOOLIMPD phase.

in the Log folder of SUM not file is getting updated and in temp folder only one file dev_evt is updating with time stamp only not data is being updated in the file.

I am not sure about which steps I have to perform, I am a bit confused.. because some are optional and some are not relevant to my release (as target or source release is different from mine). and also few things are not applied in my envirnoment hence those steps are also not relevant.

Hello Dear experts,

I am performing an enhancement package 7 using SUM 1.0 SP10 , coming from  SAP ECC 6 EHP6 with Support Package 8, kernel 7.21 ext, Oracle 11.2.0.3, right now I am in step 5.5 Preprocessing - MAIN_SHDIMP/SUBMOD_SHD2_RUN/RUN_RSCPFROM_CRR_UPTIME but there is showing the below error message:

I cannot login to the shadow instance it looks like it were down, but I can see the dispatchers and all the processes running.

I stopped, kill all processes and restarted the server (using the below command) but still nothing:

<update directory>/abap/bin

./SAPup startshd

I am upgrading  ECC 6 EHP6 stack 5 to Stack 12 ,  SPDD and SPAU objects are not same as DEV, QA and Production , we have more objects in DEV compared to QA and production as some of the modifications are still in DEV. Now project team wants to move the all modifications with SPAU and SPDD to QA and PRD.

We want to add all SPDD and SPAU objects ( from DEV) with the transports (  one transport for SPDD and one for SPAU )  when SUM prompts for QA and Production ,  Just wondering if it is going to be a problem while adding these transports with QA and Production upgrades.

I have an issue regarding the sap query.We are doing upgrade from ECC5 to 6.0.This problem generates in the new version of TST.

scenario is the client has DEV system and TST system.

After you create a query using transaction SQ01 it goes to custom  transaction code which when excuted calls the sap program which generates sap query.When you execute the custom transaction code in DEV sys it is working fine and  the Program is working fine.

But when you execute SQ01 in TST  and execute it 

it shows an ABAP dump saying the program AZ===*====is not in the library.(which is behind the custom transaction code)

In DEV we generated a query and released to TST but the program is not availabale in TST.Will the query be transported from one server to another.

there is one more to tell

When we go to transaction SQ01 and create a query it says correct the ranked list 01 first. this happens in both DEV and TST

do you think this is leading to ABAP dump.

Please help in fixing this problem as i am new to sap query

We have our annual patching cycle about to commence and we where hoping to upgrade to ERP 6.0 EHP7 SP6 and also upgrade our SRM 7.0 system to EHP3 SP6 and our CRM 7.0 system to EHP3 SP6 as well. This was released to customer last week, however when I try to generate the xml file via the maintenance optimizer the following message is displayed:-

SP Stack 06 (10/2014) # SP Update only, see note 2081050

On checking this note it is telling us we cannot upgrade our systems to SP6 but we would have to do a two step process at the moment ie upgrade to SP5 and then patch the systems to SP6 in a second step. This would extend the amount of time the patching would take and increase the downtime of the systems and so is not an easy choice.

The OSS note however says :-

If you would like to run the EHP installation to Suite7i2013 SP06 directly, please wait for the release of the same shortly after RTC of SP06.

Does anyone know how long this shortly is likely to be, as we cannot plan or decide what to do with a vague statemnet such as shortly.

After upgrading to EHP 7, when we create an instrument of interest rates in TM_51 transaction is not generating the payment of interest rates, only generates the payment of principal.

Before the update, this problem did not occur and the generation of the instrument of interest rates occurred without problems.

Has anyone experienced this problem?
