we are currently performing a SAP Upgrade of our SAP R/3 Enterprise to ERP 6.0 EHP6.
As for the EHP, the minimum of what is required should be installed. There is a variety of different software components installed on the current system and used. I am wondering if that makes a difference in the selection of the right Technical Usages in MOPZ or not.
In other words, can we select the Technical Usage "Central Applications" only for installation (no activation) or do we need to look at the installed software components and based on this derive the relevant Technical Usages that should be installed?
Or will MOPZ ensure that all relevant technical usages required to update existing software components are selected automatically?
Not a basis guy but a PM but trying to help.
Couldn't find any fitting answers to this question in the forum.
Again, aim to install the minimum required as part of the upgrade.
