Environment variable 'SAPUP_LIBNAME' does not exist I-Series

Hi everyone,

We are installing an EHP on an ECC6 system using SUM (AS400 / I-series / DB2). At the start of the extraction phase we get this error:

FATAL ERROR: Environment variable 'SAPUP_LIBNAME' does not exist.  . Connection to SAPup could not be established, see following messages.

Has anyone seen this before?  There is very little loginfo to go on since SUM has not actually started the abap phasese yet. The only usefull info is in SUM\sdt\trc\DETECT.TRC en server.trc.
